To implement the spirit of the university's 2026 Overseas Outstanding Young Scholars Initiative Meeting and advance the university's One-Ten-Hundred-Thousand development goals, the School of Electronics and Information(SEI) held 2026 Talent Work Promotion Meeting and Talent Project Policy Briefing on January 22nd at Qizhen Building, Chang'an Campus. Li Ying and Ke Wei, business supervisors from the Talent Development and Cultivation Office of the Departtmnt of Human Resources of NPU, were invited to present the policies. Over 40 attendees participated, including Hou Jun, Party Secretary of the SEI, members of the Talent Work Leading Group, directors of faculties (centers), Party branch secretaries, research team leaders, talent ambassadors, and candidates for talent project applications. The meeting was chaired by Hou Jun.

At the meeting, Hou Jun conveyed the work deployment of the university party committee on the application of overseas outstanding youth, clarified the key directions and goals and tasks of the school's talent introduction in 2026, and introduced a series of incentive measures for talent acquisition. He emphasized that the college will further solidify talent recruitment responsibilities by assigning tasks to faculties, Party branches, research teams, recruitment ambassadors, and national-level talents. Responsible individuals must proactively take initiative, strengthen accountability awareness, actively broaden recruitment channels, and flexibly employ diverse approaches such as attracting talent through existing talent, publications, and conferences. The school will hold regular promotion meetings to track the work of responsible individuals, ensuring that recruitment tasks are implemented effectively and yield tangible results.
Li Ying delivered a presentation focusing on the 2026 overseas talent recruitment policies and support measures, providing a detailed overview of the overall framework of the overseas talent recruitment program. She outlined the criteria, support policies, and benefit packages for various talent projects. Ke Wei introduced talent development pathways and related policies, systematically interpreting the key points and considerations for the full application process of different talent projects from multiple dimensions, including systems, levels, and channels.

This meeting further consolidated consensus on talent development within the school, clarified key priorities for the next phase of work, and reinforced accountability for talent recruitment efforts. It has laid a solid foundation for advancing talent recruitment and cultivation initiatives in 2026. The school will continue to optimize talent service mechanisms and foster a conducive environment for professional growth, thereby providing robust support for building a high-level talent pool and driving the school's high-quality development.
